Slalom Flex (Project Based) - Business Systems Analyst, Supply Chain

This is a hybrid role. In this role, you'll be working directly with a Slalom Program Lead. What You’ll Do Lead work streams for large, complex strategic projects within sourcing and supply chain domains; drive design and delivery of solutions for those initiatives. Identify and analyze complex business issues, conduct SME interviews, synthesize insights quickly, and propose high-level, innovative solutions with long-term considerations. Excellent ability to document current and future state business workflows using tools such as Visio, Miro, Draw.io, etc., applying strong process mapping and business architecture principles. Develop strategies for improving operational efficiency across sourcing and supply chain functions. Utilize deep knowledge of specialized technical, functional, and supply chain spaces; partner with architects on projects within those areas as needed. Take ownership of project work streams; translate stakeholder conversations into clear requirements and operating procedures; delegate and manage tasks of team members in support of those projects. Partner with business stakeholders to innovate their work streams; proactively conduct research and analysis to identify potential options and improvements. Draft and present cost/benefit analyses and actionable recommendations to executive leadership. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience 4–6 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, systems analyst, or related role; experience in sourcing and supply chain environments required Strong process mapping and business architecture skillset, with experience documenting current and future state workflows Experience with tools such as Visio, Miro, or Draw.io required; familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio a plus Expertise in data analysis, reporting tools, and translating data insights into actionable business recommendations Strong ability to translate business conversations and requirements into structured documentation, including clear, usable operating procedures and technical requirements Demonstrated initiative in identifying and anticipating improvement opportunities and making actionable recommendations Relevant certifications (e.g., CCBA – Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) are advantageous but not required Compensation and Benefits Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
