Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entry points, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and/or vendor entry procedures, verifying credentials and following site protocols for restricted or controlled areas.
• Support closing and opening activities as assigned, including observing exterior conditions, checking designated areas, and reporting maintenance, access control, and/or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
