Pipefitter Welder

Job Description Our client is seeking an experienced Welder / Pipefitter. This position will be supporting ongoing industrial fabrication projects. This role is ideal for a senior-level tradesperson with extensive experience fitting and welding stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, produce high-quality welds, and contribute to project deadlines in a safe, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Fabricate, fit, and install stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems. Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel materials. Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication drawings. Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare pipe for assembly and welding. Assemble piping systems, valves, flanges, supports, and related components. Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy. Operate fabrication equipment, grinders, saws, and other shop tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety procedures. Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule. Job Requirements 7+ years of experience as a Welder/Pipefitter in an industrial, manufacturing, or process piping environment. experience welding stainless steel and carbon steel. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, piping drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication prints. Experience fabricating and fitting piping systems with minimal supervision. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Ability to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) on a consistent basis.
