Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
- Must be able to interface proficiently with enterprise and shipping software for recording and distribution of materials
- Detail oriented requiring attention to quality specifications, inventory counts, invoices and other documentation while keeping accurate records
- Initiates warehouse activities with thorough knowledge of chain in relation to assembly procedures, description and special customer requirements
- Assembles loose pitches, connectors, etc., as needed to complete orders
- Receives, inputs, stores, and distributes raw materials with thorough knowledge of procedures, descriptions, and specific requirements for production processes and prepares product for shipment
- Proficient with the rigging and lifting of raw materials in a safe manner
- Follows applicable Safety, Health and Environmental rules and guidelines while performing job duties
- Maintains departmental housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
- Proven computer and software aptitude
- 1-3 years shipping and receiving experience.
- Warehouse activities
- High proficiency with computer applications and software utilization
- Exhibits required in-depth job knowledge and skills
- Able to solve problems and determine a course of action by troubleshooting and anticipates problems
- Fosters a team environment and has the ability to influence others within the department
- Can prioritize the work and coordinate with others
- Exhibits a sense of urgency to get the job done
- Understands, responds, and supports fostering good employee and supplier relationships
- Computer proficiency with skills and ability to understand MS Outlook, Office, Word and Excel and Enterprise and Shipping software packages
