• Pay Rate: $67.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift, 18:4507:15, 312 hours; every other weekend coverage

Job Summary

This is a Med-Surg/Telemetry travel nursing position on the inpatient unit for stroke and TIA patients. The unit also receives higher acuity med-surg patients and is highly focused on patient experience. The unit is capable of performing peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Float is required may be floated to other units based on need and skill set
• Care for patient age group: Adults & Geriatrics
• Manage patients presenting with diagnoses including Stroke/TIA, Seizure, Syncope, Chest Pain, Dialysis, Acute Kidney Failure, Post Heart Cath, Respiratory Failure, Encephalopathy, CHF, and Sepsis
• Utilize Omnicell medication system
• Support peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation procedures
• Maintain a staffing ratio of 1:6 on nights

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience required
• No first-time travelers prior travel nursing experience required

Education Requirements

• ACLS Required
• BLS Required
• NIHSS Required
• Tennessee active RN license Required
• Flu vaccine Required (no exemptions)

• Night shift position: 18:4507:15, 312-hour shifts
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Floating to other units required based on need and skill set
• Staffing ratio (Nights): 1:6
