System Administrator

Overview The System Administrator provides mid-level technical support for the USCO eCO System and ImageTrust Operations and Maintenance contract, operating under the direction of the Senior System Administrator. This position carries primary responsibility for evening and after-hours incident response, ensuring continuous fulfillment of Severity 1 and Severity 2 SLA response thresholds during non-core hours. The System Administrator serves as the first technical responder for incidents occurring during the evening shift and coordinates escalation to the Senior System Administrator when Tier 3 involvement is required. The System Administrator performs recurring system monitoring, executes scheduled daily CDRL reporting tasks within the shift window, supports configuration and change management activities, and assists in the administration of all eCO environments including the Alternate Computing Facility. This individual must possess sufficient technical depth to independently diagnose and resolve production incidents without real-time supervision. Required Qualifications Minimum three (3) years of hands-on system administration experience in a production IT environment Working knowledge of Oracle Siebel CRM or a comparable enterprise CRM platform administration Experience with Oracle database environments including monitoring, query execution, and log analysis Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and UNIX/Linux server administration Familiarity with LDAP and Active Directory user and access management Working knowledge of ITIL incident management and ticketing workflows including ServiceNow or equivalent Experience performing system monitoring using automated alert management tools Ability to execute scripted maintenance procedures independently during off-hours windows Strong written communication skills for incident documentation and shift handoff reporting Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting 24x7 federal agency IT operations with formal SLA compliance requirements Familiarity with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) or comparable analytics platform monitoring Experience with SAN, network device monitoring, or enterprise hardware administration Knowledge of enterprise scanning or imaging system administration (ImageTrust or equivalent) Experience with disaster recovery procedures and failover testing in a federal environment CompTIA Security+, Network+, or equivalent certification Background supporting Library of Congress, federal civilian agency, or comparable public-facing federal IT environments Key Responsibilities Serve as primary on-call first responder for eCO system incidents during the evening shift, ensuring 30-minute response compliance for Severity 1 and Severity 2 incidents per Section C.5 Execute daily monitoring activities within shift window including server status verification, alert queue review, and escalation table status confirmation Generate and submit end-of-shift incident documentation and ServiceNow ticket updates per CDRL 17 Perform shift handoff briefing with the Overnight Operations Analyst at 12:00 AM ET covering open incidents, active alerts, and pending items Support system administration tasks across all environments including access management, password changes, patch installation, and configuration updates under direction of the Senior System Administrator Assist in weekend maintenance window coordination and participate in scheduled maintenance activities as assigned Support capacity planning analysis, performance monitoring, and system health reporting within shift scope Coordinate security patch scheduling and execution with the Senior System Administrator Participate in release implementation checklist execution and migration checklist validation as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr AGR
