Medical Assistant - Phlebotomy

Pay From: $23 per hour



MUST:
The Medical Assistant must have experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an accredited medical assistant training program (preferred)
Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Experience in a related field, such as med spas, urology, family practice, lab, etc
Excellent customer service, communication, and multitasking skills
Proficient with computers and electronic health record systems
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Committed to upholding patient confidentiality


DUTIES:
Greeting patients
Scheduling appointments
Managing payments
Front desk duties (answering phones, keeping lobby clean, etc)
Organizing office/supplies
Phlebotomy (blood draws) of patients
Injections (Testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12 and other vitamins)
Administering erectile dysfunction treatments (i.e. Shockwave Therapy and PRP Prep)
Checking patient vitals and recording in EMR
Ensuring all lab results are input into patient charts
Assisting medical providers with patient care (specifically the Lead MA)
Assisting in lab operations
Maintaining accurate records in EMR and adhering to all HIPAA Protocols
