CT Tech

CT TechAs our CT Tech, you will operate diagnostic equipment and perform a variety of technical diagnostic imaging procedures related to computed tomography. You will provide critical patient orientation, procedure explanation, and essential pre and post-diagnostic care to ensure the successful completion of tests. Every day you will perform CT exams on patients according to specific departmental procedure protocols under the Medical Director's direction, ensuring all equipment is operational, safe, and functioning correctly. You will facilitate patient understanding by reviewing physician orders, communicating with radiologists for proper exam protocols, and providing detailed diagnostic test information. To be successful in this role, you must possess the ability to independently perform complete diagnostic imaging tests, including patient positioning, equipment calibration, and documentation of findings under supervision. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety, adherence to protocols, and effective communication with both patients and clinical staff.Required:High School Graduate or GEDOne year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting or one year experience as a CT TechnologistGraduate of school of Radiologic TechnologyMedical Radiographer: CABasic Life Support - CPRRegistered Technologist Radiography ARRT (R)(CT)Preferred:One year experience as a CT Technologist in hospital settingCardiac CT and CT guided procedure experience
