Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Experience in the Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) Lab - Ability to scrub and monitor procedures Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. This position involves monitoring and circulating in the Cath Lab and/or EP Lab. The Cath Lab features 11 procedure rooms, including multiple cath and EP suites. Patient ratios are 1:3 for staff to patients, ensuring high-quality care. The team consists of Cath/EP Techs and Cath/EP RNs. We utilize GE and Philips x-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR technology, and Merge Hemo documentation. Staff members are required to float only to prep and recovery areas as needed. Advanced skills in BLS and ACLS are essential for this role. Procedures include diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, TAVR, watchman implants, and various electrophysiology studies. Candidates should be prepared to engage in complex procedures, including lead extractions and pacemaker implants. Dress code includes scrubs as the required uniform.
