Dental Hygienist

HUNTINGTON Dental Hygienist Overview In this highly visible role you will report to the Dental Director and provide compassionate care to patients while performing essential periodontal and preventative procedures. Your day will involve interacting with patients, verifying health information, escorting patients to and from the waiting room, and managing sterilization and equipment maintenance. Responsibilities Perform periodontal and preventative dental procedures. Verify patient health information and schedule appointments. Escort patients to and from the waiting room. Enter patient data into the electronic health record. Ensure all equipment is sterilized, maintained, and functional. Communicate with patients via phone or in person to schedule and confirm appointments. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA. Qualifications Registered Dental Hygienist with a current Massachusetts license. Experience using computer‑based systems to input patient data. Knowledge of HIPAA and HCHC policy regarding patient confidentiality. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Strong detail orientation and teamwork.
