We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hands-On Shop Foreman to join our team in Spring Hill, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing diesel mechanics, excellent leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to ensure the smooth operation of our facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to transition into a Management role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily shop operations and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Supervise, train, and mentor shop staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the shop.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a shop foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong technical knowledge of Heavy equipment and Diesel Trucks.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
