Aerospace Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer - Elevate Aerospace Excellence Location: Kent, WA | Hours: Full-Time, Day Shift (M-F) | Reports to: Quality Manager | Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 (DOE) | Environment: FAA Repair Station Advance aerospace innovation with precision and purpose. Responsibilities Partner directly with aerospace commercial, defense, and space OEMs and suppliers to resolve technical issues and interpret engineering specs and drawings. Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce Cost of Poor Quality. Develop and implement quality standards and process improvements across production. Support FAA Repair Station return‑to‑service authorizations. Host audits and customer visits and train cross‑functional teams on quality best practices. Preferred Experience 5+ years in aerospace manufacturing or finishing; AS9100 & Nadcap familiarity preferred. Preferred Education Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; quality certifications a plus. Skills Strong analytical mindset; hands‑on with measuring tools. Experience with ERP/QMS systems (Syteline preferred). Technical documentation proficiency. Certifications FAA Repairman Certificate and auditor training are advantageous.
