Medical Surgical NurseWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our healthcare team as a Medical Surgical Nurse in Rhode Island. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing medical and surgical treatment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.The position requires working night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, providing an opportunity to deliver comprehensive care during crucial hours. As a key member of the medical team, you will collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and assess patient health conditions, including vital signs and other indicators of wellness.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and ongoing treatment plans.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Rhode Island.BLS certification is required.Proven experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing patient needs.
