Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Unit

Location: Chattanooga, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with a strong background in orthopedics to join our 5 East Orthopedic/Spine unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring adherence to established nursing standards.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care for orthopedic patients.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records via Meditech documentation system.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN License in the state of Tennessee.
• Strong ortho background and experience in orthopedic nursing.
• Compassion and teamwork skills are essential.
• Availability for 4 weekend shifts per schedule.
