As administrators of the state's workers' compensation system, The Washington State Department Of Labor And Industries is similar to a large insurance company, providing medical and limited wage-replacement coverage to workers who suffer job-related injuries and illness. The Agency's rules and enforcement programs help ensure workers are paid what they are owed, that children's and teens' work hours limited, and consumers are protected from unsound building practices. The client is starting with people and processes – ensuring the best way to do business and collectively understand business priorities and customers’ expectations. Then, they will invest in new technology to support those process improvements and achieve stated goals and objectives.Navigating the agency's technology maze is challenging for its employees. It complicates the training process and makes it difficult for them to deliver high-quality, effective service to their customers. Many applications are independent and don’t communicate information between each other. Over the next several years, L&I will modernize technology across the Dept., which will take place in phases. Key focus areas shall be The current workers’ compensation system; L&I’s Insurance System (LINIIS) is an application comprised of many sub- systems and used to process and manage workers’ compensation claims; Organized Information Online (ORION) is an integrated document management (IDM) and business process management (BPM) workflow application where the work is managed; Early Claims Solutions (ECS) is an application used by both claims and employer services staff; Independent Medical Examination (IME) application; Medical Information Payment System (MIPS); Benefit Payment System (BPS), and Pension Payment System (PPS); and VOC-LINK is an application for private vocational rehabilitation providers.Senior Quality Assurance Analyst Candidates shall work to support requirements for Program Support and Work with solution development team and the QA team to automate testing, create new test harnesses and implement new automation tools. use their top notch software design, analysis and programming skills to create innovative automated test systems. Examine, validate, and test large scale software development and deployment projects. Help design and build intelligent systems that explore various use cases and scenarios. Possesses 3+ years of Testing and Automation experience; 5+ years of development experience; Writing/using open source test automation tools; Testing software in a distributed networking environment; Testing large scale enterprise systems; Relational Databases or programming in SQL.
