Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The RN will provide specialized perioperative care for cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess preoperative cardiovascular patients and prepare them for surgery.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure proper instrumentation and operative flow.
• Maintain detailed documentation of surgical procedures and patient responses.
• Provide postoperative care and monitor recovery of cardiovascular patients.
• Adhere to safety standards and assist with emergency interventions when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Have at least 1 year of recent CVOR clinical experience.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an associate's degree or higher.
• Possess certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC and Omnicell technologies.
• Willing to float within related units if census requires.
