Senior Accountant

Position Senior Corporate Accountant Position Summary The Senior Accountant's primary role is to perform monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger duties as part of the Corporate Accounting team. Additional responsibilities include knowledge transfer activities, process improvement, and implementation support. Successful candidates for the role must be detail-oriented, resourceful, organized, customer- focused, deadline-driven, and team players. Responsibilities Assist with preparation of month-end financial statements Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for high level accounts Maintain and operate standard period-end closing schedules Prepare and post accurate journal entries related to assigned areas of accounting Prepare bank reconciliations Ensure all activities comply with relevant policies and procedures Support audit requests Complete month-end close activities, such as subledger reconciliations Support projects, implementations, and knowledge transfers as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting CPA preferred 5 years of experience in multi-location/entity or public company experience External audit experience preferred Strong knowledge of US GAAP #J-18808-Ljbffr
