# EHS CoordinatorApplyremote type: On-sitelocations: Glens Falls, New Yorktime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R2611605**Job Summary****Job Description**# JOB SUMMARYAssist the EHS Manager by developing, implementing and coordinating environmental, health and safety programs, monitor compliance with regulations, conduct occupational safety training, equipment inspections, safety process assessments and incident investigations# MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESConduct Job Safety Analysis (line, department and task specific)Assist with conducting and developing EHS training (new hire orientation, monthly safety training and Safety Team training)Support monthly Safety Team meetings (i.e. track closure of items, develop activities)Assist with incident investigations, identification of root cause, closure of Industry Safe/Vector incidentsAssist with audit facilitation, PPE assessments and records review (i.e. hazardous waste manifest and tracking)Conduct Lockout/tagout assessment support, procedure support and issuing of locks for new hiresSupport facilities and requirements for environmental permits (Stormwater inspections, Air emissions tracking)Help facilitate industrial hygiene monitoring (noise maps, monitoring and testing)Safety Data Sheet (SDS) review, updates and tracking# MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS**Education**High school graduate**Certification / Licensure****Work Experience****Knowledge / Skills / Abilities**Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulationsAble to utilize an analytical approach to help solve complex issuesWork on site- No hybrid workEffective verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)Requires standing, walking, carrying. stooping and kneeling and potential light physical workWork schedule flexibility: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (8-4:30 PM) and Tuesday, Thursday (12-8:30 PM). Must have the flexibility to support the night shift teams with training, drills and safety concerns# PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS**Education****Certification / Licensure****Work Experience**A minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial, manufacturing or plant facility.
