Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Beaumont, TX. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills in an outpatient environment. This opportunity involves working with neuro, orthopedic, and geriatric populations. Candidates with outpatient clinical experience and proficiency with WellSky are preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Texas OT license required prior to the start of the assignment.
• Prior outpatient clinical experience is required. No new graduates unless they have outpatient clinical experience.
• Experience treating neuro, orthopedic, and geriatric populations.
• Familiarity with WellSky EMR preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings is preferred if able to cover both.
• Previous travel therapy experience is a plus.

Assignment Details

• Clinician may be asked to cover both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities if needed.
• Client prefers candidates able to work either a Tuesday–Saturday pattern or a Sunday–Thursday pattern.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide patient-centered care to support recovery and independence. This role supports evidence-based interventions across neuro, ortho, and geriatric populations in an outpatient setting. Documentation and outcomes tracking using the facility EMR will be expected to help maintain high standards of care.
