Job Description

Step into an engaging role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based contract setting near Newark, DE. Your expertise in speech-language services will help students achieve their communication goals and flourish academically.

Key Qualifications:

Hold an active Delaware SLP License/Certification (must be valid throughout the assignment)
Previous school-based experience, ideally with elementary-aged students
Demonstrated abilities in providing speech-language therapy, evaluations, and developing IEP goals
Skilled in progress monitoring and maintaining accurate documentation
Excellent teamwork and adaptability, ready to lend support wherever needed
Strong collaboration with teachers, related service providers, and families to foster student success
Ability to work full scheduled hours onsite, with consistent attendance

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students, tailored to individual needs
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute actively to IEP development and meetings
Track student progress, collect data, and complete all required clinical documentation
Communicate effectively with school staff, related service providers, and families
Support a positive and inclusive educational environment, adjusting to caseload or assignment changes as needed

This position runs from ASAP through June 16, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week (elementary school hours: 8:45 AM–4:15 PM EST). Interviews are conducted via a brief Google Meet.
