Join our growing team at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto, a 339-bed acute care hospital located in Southaven, Mississippi. Our highly skilled and experienced doctors, nurses, and staff provide a wide range of health care services, including ancillary, cancer, emergency and surgical, heart, neurology, women's and children's services, and more. Baptist-DeSoto was the first hospital in DeSoto County to offer open-heart surgery.

Case Assignments

Cardiovascular (CV), Neurology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, General, Urology, Pulmonary (Bronchoscopy), Gastroenterology (EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP), Interventional Radiology and Well Peds

Shifts

Full time-8, 10 and 12 rotating shifts throughout the year with call requirements Monday-Friday. Weekend calls are voluntary.

Team Highlights

Highly autonomous environment. CRNAs are encouraged to practice at the top of their license. The anesthesia care team approach provides a collaborative work environment where CRNAs, MDs, and the surgical team share strong, respectful relationships—led by inspiring and supportive leadership. Currently our care team model includes approximately 3 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs, who have created a cohesive group.

Requirements

Responsibilities: Pre-anesthesia assessment, Obtains and/or verifies patient consent, Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient, Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements: Current license as a registered professional nurse, Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education, Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
