A growing private investment firm with a strong track record of success in the middle-market is seeking an Associate to join its investment team. This is an opportunity to work directly with experienced investment professionals and senior leadership on evaluating, executing, and managing investments across a diverse portfolio of companies. Coming off of two very successful fundraises and a third in close proximity, this role is designed to support the growth initiatives.

We are looking for the traditional private equity profile: a top-performing investment banking analyst with strong transaction experience, exceptional analytical capabilities, and a desire to build a long-term career investing in businesses rather than advising them.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate acquisition opportunities and conduct investment analysis
• Build and maintain complex financial models
• Perform due diligence and industry research
• Support transaction execution from LOI through close
• Develop investment committee materials and presentations
• Work closely with management teams and portfolio company leadership
• Assist with portfolio monitoring, value creation initiatives, and strategic analyses

What We're Looking For

• 1-2 years of investment banking experience at a respected middle-market or bulge bracket investment bank
• Strong M&A, valuation, and financial modeling experience
• Excellent academic credentials with a demonstrated record of achievement
• Exposure to relevant industry sectors through transaction experience
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and communication skills
• Desire to transition to the buyside and build a long-term investing career
• Bachelor's degree from a highly regarded university
