Onsite Technical Support Associate

Salary: $72,800 - 93,600 per year Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in technical support, field service, hardware support, access control, or a related position
• Practical ability to troubleshoot basic hardware, wiring, device, and connectivity problems
• Strong preference for familiarity with access-control equipment, sensors, cameras, badges/readers, low-voltage systems, or network-connected devices
• Basic understanding of IP networking, cabling, and device connectivity
• Comfort using hand tools and simple diagnostic equipment
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize requests, and determine when escalation is needed
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Hubbard/Waco, Texas

• Serve as our primary onsite point of contact for the customer and provide responsive, professional daily support
• Troubleshoot and carry out light onsite fixes for gateways, sensors, badges, turnstiles, badge readers, devices, batteries, cabling, and related low-voltage equipment
• Diagnose basic hardware, wiring, connectivity, and configuration issues, then document findings, completed work, and next steps
• Support routine badge and access-control requests, device checks, and basic system upkeep
• Use our data and dashboards to help the customer understand operational activity and spot potential issues
• Communicate clearly with customer users, provide progress updates, and explain technical issues in a simple, helpful way
• Coordinate with our engineering, operations, and field technicians when an issue needs escalation or specialized support
• Keep accurate records of devices, support requests, site activity, and completed work
• Follow site safety requirements and represent our company professionally at all times
• Assist with equipment moves, device replacements, installations, decommissioning and recommissioning, and other onsite projects as site needs change
• Help assess project needs, coordinate with our engineering and field teams, and complete work that matches training and experience
• Work alongside or escalate larger, more complex, or specialized projects to our field technicians and engineering team to ensure safe and correct completion

We provide connected jobsite technology that helps customers manage workforce access, safety, and operations through sensors, badges, access-control tools, and real-time data. This onsite role is based in the Hubbard/Waco area and works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation depends on experience, and benefits include health insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and vision insurance. The position is in person and offers the opportunity to support a customer site directly while collaborating with our engineering, operations, and field teams.
