The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.Essential Responsibilities:Design,develop,test,deploy,andsupportenterpriseintegrationsolutionsandservices.BuildandmaintainRESTAPIs,backendservices,andsystemintegrationsconnectinginternalandexternalplatforms.Develop scalable solutionsthatenablesecuredataexchangeandbusinessprocessautomation.Createandenhanceworkflowautomationcapabilitiestoimproveoperationalefficiencyanduserexperience.Contributetoapplicationmodernizationinitiatives,improvingscalability,performance,reliability,andmaintainability.Collaboratewithbusinessstakeholders,productteams,andengineerstoanalyzerequirementsanddelivertechnicalsolutions.ParticipateinallphasesoftheSDLCincludingtechnicaldesign,coding,testing,implementation,andproductionsupport.Identifyopportunitiestoautomatemanualprocessesanddrivecontinuousimprovement.Implementandsupportapplicationsecurity,compliance,andriskmanagementrequirements.Performcodereviews,maintaintechnicaldocumentation,andpromoteengineeringbestpractices.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience- Three to five years of relevant experiencePreferred Skills/ExperienceStrongproficiencyinC#,.NET,andobject-orientedsoftwaredevelopmentprinciples.Hands-onexperiencewithSQLServer,relationaldatabasedesign,queryoptimization,anddataintegration.ExpertiseindesigninganddevelopingRESTAPIs,webservices,andbackendintegrationsolutions.ExperiencebuildingmodernwebapplicationsusingReact,JavaScript/TypeScript,andresponsiveUIdevelopmentpractices.Knowledgeofenterpriseintegrationpatterns,system-to-systemintegrations,andsecuredataexchangearchitectures.Experiencedeliveringworkflowautomationsolutionsthatimproveoperationalefficiencyandbusinessprocesses.ProficiencywithAgilemethodologies,includingScrum,iterativedevelopment,andcross-functionalteamcollaboration.ExperiencewithCI/CDpipelines,Git,sourcecontrolmanagement,automatedtesting,andreleasemanagementpractices.Strong troubleshooting,productionsupport,analytical,andproblem-solvingskillswithincomplexenterpriseenvironments.Familiaritywithcloud-nativedevelopment,event-drivenarchitecture,messagequeues,DevOpspractices,applicationsecurity,andAI-assisteddevelopmenttoolssuchasGitHubCopilotandClaudeCode.Location expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
