At Centerstone / Burrell Behavioral Health, you’ll work directly within public schools, providing accessible mental health support where students need it most. Why Therapists Choose This Role ️ Schedule & Lifestyle School-based setting (daytime hours) Predictable schedule aligned with school calendar Options for year-round OR 10–11 month schedules (after a probationary period) Compensation & Earnings Potential PLPC / LMSW / PLMFT: Starting at $55,852 LPC / LCSW / LMFT: Starting at $70,202 Performance bonuses: Up to $12,000 annually Sign-On Bonus: Available based on location (external candidates) NHSC Approved Site: Eligible for tax-free student loan repayment Professional Growth Company-paid clinical supervision for PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT Additional income opportunities for fully licensed clinicians Ongoing, high-quality training and development Clear pathways for advancement and internal mobility Benefits & Support Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, retirement) 29 days of PTO annually Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel Supportive, collaborative clinical environment What You’ll Do Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students in a school setting Support students’ emotional and behavioral health to improve academic success Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support when needed Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources Participate in case staffing and treatment planning Serve as a liaison to ensure coordinated care for students and families What You Bring Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field Licensed or provisionally licensed in Missouri (or working toward licensure) as: PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMFT Strong communication and relationship-building skills Passion for working with children, families, and schools Preferred: Experience providing individual, group, or family therapy Experience in school-based or community mental health settings Why Southwest Missouri?
