Full Stack Developer

Role Description We are seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer to join our IT software development team. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building and maintaining modern web applications in an AWS cloud environment. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys coding, problem-solving, and working with cutting-edge technologies rather than managing or directing others. Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications from frontend to backend Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces Deploy and maintain applications in AWS cloud infrastructure Collaborate with team members on code reviews and technical discussions Troubleshoot and debug applications across the entire stack Participate in agile development processes (sprints, standups, retrospectives) Stay current with modern development practices and emerging technologies Qualifications 5-7 years of professional software development experience Proven experience building full stack web applications and seeing them through from development to production deployment Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) Strong experience with at least one modern backend language/framework: Node.js/Express Python/Django/Flask/Go Java/Spring Boot C#/.NET Core Experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases Familiarity with core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and automated testing Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Self-motivated with ability to work independently Good communication skills for team collaboration Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements Attention to detail and commitment to code quality Requirements Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance T5 level background investigation (possesses or must be able to obtain) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) Familiarity with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, API Gateway) Experience with modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite) Understanding of security best practices and OWASP principles Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Exposure to TypeScript Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Jest, Pytest, JUnit, etc.) Benefits Healthcare Wellness Financial support Retirement benefits Family support Continuing education Time off benefits Company Description CACI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
