Requirements Roofing Technician Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn through on-the-job training
- Willingness to work on steep roofs
- Clean Driving Record
- 3+ Years of Commercial Roofing Experience (preferred)
- Knowledge and experience with multiple types of commercial roofing systems or construction in general (preferred but not required)
- Aerial Lift (preferred)
- Some experience with metal roofing (1-2 years of roofing experience preferred but not required)
- Enthusiasm for working outside in the elements and being physically active
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and think outside-the-box
- Dependable and able to be at work on time and on a consistent basis
- Presentable in appearance, and professional when communicating with both customers and Benton Team Members
- Sharpen up your Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) knowledge so you're a top-notch construction industry member
- Knowledge and experience with multiple types of roofing systems (preferred but not required)
- Experience using a hot air welder and/or other roofing system application tool (preferred but not required)
- Hungry to start a career with the opportunity to advance within the company
