Step into a meaningful opportunity as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist, serving school-aged students for the entire 2026–2027 academic year. This onsite-only, full-time role is located near Springfield, MA, and is ideal for professionals passionate about fostering communication skills and supporting diverse student populations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide assessments and intervention for students with speech-language needs, and ensure compliance with all school and state regulations.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Massachusetts (please provide a screenshot of your current license)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience in a school-based setting with pediatric populations
- Bilingual proficiency to support students and families from diverse backgrounds
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation and commitment to punctuality
- Willingness to pass drug screening, fingerprinting, background/CORI check
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes as required
- Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary staff
- Act as an advocate for students' needs and support inclusion
- Follow established procedures for attendance, reporting absences, and school communications
