Assembler (Second Shift)

2454 North 27th Street, Decatur, IL, United States | Decatur, IL | Hourly | 22-24 per hour | Full Time

The Kelly Group is seeking an Assembler for work in Decatur, Illinois. Candidates should be capable of maintaining focus and discipline while completing repetitive procedures daily. They should also be able to display keen attention to detail, meet deadlines and be flexible with daily duties.

This position is for second shift, from 1 to 9 p.m.

This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:

• Following blueprints/schematics to assemble mechanical components

• Verifying correct quantities of component parts and checking completed items for quality

• Using basic tools on a regular basis

• Boxing completed components

• Monitoring parts inventory

• Inspecting parts using authorized equipment

Other preferred qualifications and experience:

• Previous forklift experience/certification

• Prior work in a manufacturing environment
