The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina is recruiting a board certified/board eligible Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon with exceptional expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques and sports-related foot and ankle injuries. The incumbent will partner with our current orthopaedic faculty and clinical staff in serving patients in the Charleston tri-county area, including local and regional professional sport teams.

The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation has 46 Faculty members serving the clinical, research, and education missions. The Department delivers the region's most comprehensive range of musculoskeletal services, encompassing every orthopaedic subspecialty. • Ability to push/pull objects, up to 15 lbs., unassisted (Infrequent)
• Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes (Continuous)
• Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand (Frequent)
• Ability to see and recognize objects at a distance (Frequent)
• Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception (Continuous)
• Good peripheral vision capabilities (Continuous)
• Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction (Continuous)
