Carryout Cashier Responsibilities and Duties Carryout Cashiers enjoy working with the public and have a friendly, outgoing personality. They are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and display a positive attitude when interacting with customers and fellow team members. Answer phone and take food orders over the phone Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change Operate registers, point of sale, and credit card terminals Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or make suggestions Learn food and beverage menu Maintain accurate cash drawer Keep the checkout area clean and orderly Requirements A Carryout Cashier at Piesanos must obtain the following qualifications and skills: Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately Positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and twisting and standing for long periods of time Knowledge of register operation, including cash, credit cards, and register receipts Multitasking Team members must be able to work in the United States.
