Grant Accountant

Location: Fully Remote Salary: $70,000 $75,000

Key Responsibilities for the Grant Accountant:

Manage accounting activities for assigned state and federal grants.
Review and approve grant-related expenditures and procurement activity.
Grant Accountant will perform budgeting, budget-to-actual analysis, and financial reporting.
Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities.
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and posting issues.

Qualifications for the Grant Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; Finance degree considered with strong accounting experience.
Grant Accounting experience beyond accounts payable-focused responsibilities.
Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas.
Experience with full-cycle accounting
Abila MIP software experience (+)
