Job Description

Job duties may include:

• Overall responsibility for crew safety, performance, productivity and work quality for assigned projects
• Collaborate with superintendent and project manager to coordinate project startup, execution and close out
• Use look-ahead schedules, manpower forecasts and project specifications to provide optimum scheduling of material, manpower and crew mix
• Review drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Systematically direct and assign crew field activities to achieve maximize productivity while maintaining PCG standards of quality, performance and workplace safety- Add everything in green to drywall finisher foreman posting
• Create and maintain positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co-workers and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
• Convey a professional and positive attitude as the onsite representative of branch and corporation
• Use available technology to perform job tasks efficiently
• Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Identify and resolve job site issues proactively to avoid delays or rework
• Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and documentation
• Train, mentor, and develop crew members, including apprentices and journeymen
• On-the-job training offered

This position is safety-sensitive.

Pay Range: $39.22 - $41.22/hr

Requirements

• Previous experience in interior commercial systems and exterior metal stud framing and sheathing installations is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Carpenter Foreman
  
  
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Possess knowledge of carpentry and construction techniques and procedures
• Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
• Physically able to perform assigned tasks
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
• Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Requirements

• OSHA 30
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Willingness to travel and manage out-of-town projects is desirable.
• Experience with exterior claddings project oversight is desirable.
• Experience with interior acoustical and specialty ceiling systems is desirable.
• Proficiency in Procore software is desirable.

• Mostrar una actitud profesional y positiva como representante en obra de la sucursal y la corporacion
• Utilizar la tecnologia disponible para realizar las tareas de manera eficiente
• Capacidad para desempenar todas las funciones del puesto en un estado constante de alerta y de manera segura
• Realizar otras tareas relacionadas segun se asignen
• Identificar y resolver problemas en el sitio de trabajo de manera proactiva para evitar retrasos o retrabajos
• Mantener reportes diarios, control de tiempo y documentacion de manera precisa
• Capacitar, orientar y desarrollar a los miembros del equipo, incluidos aprendices y oficiales
• Se ofrece capacitacion en el puesto

Requisitos

• Se requiere experiencia previa en sistemas comerciales interiores y en instalacion de estructura metalica exterior y revestimientos
• Minimo 2 anos de experiencia como Capataz de Carpinteria
• Debe tener al menos 18 anos
• Conocimiento de tecnicas y procedimientos de carpinteria y construccion
• Capacidad para soportar largos periodos de pie y trabajando al aire libre
• Capacidad fisica para realizar las tareas asignadas
• Debe poder levantar hasta 40 libras
• Debe contar con transporte confiable

Requisitos Preferidos

• OSHA 30
• Bilingue en ingles y espanol
• Disposicion para viajar y gestionar proyectos fuera de la ciudad
• Experiencia supervisando proyectos de revestimientos exteriores
• Experiencia con sistemas de plafones acusticos y especializados interiores
• Manejo de software Procore
