Job Overview
Must Haves:
- Experience running Contact machine and hand placing through hole parts on CCAs
- Familiar with through-hole insertion solutions (JUKI, Amistar, Contact)
- Lead trimming.
- Manual dexterity for small-component work.
- Ability to verify part orientation and part identification.
- CCA assembly experience.
Nice to Haves:
- Prior work in avionics or defense manufacturing.
Deal Breakers:
- Has not run a contact machine – could also be referred to or described as a Through-Hole Insertion Machine (Manual/Semi-Auto).
- It uses a light to show where to place the part and clinches the leads.
- Inability to perform fine-detail manual work.
- Doesn’t know what through hole parts are.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- 2-year post-secondary/Associate degree with 1–2 years of related experience.
