Location: Work from Home. Training will be done in office at 986 Tibbetts Wick Rd, Girard, OH 44420

Business Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

The responsibilities of our Medical Billers Include:

• Prepare and submit company/patient billing.
• Assist with accounts receivable and collection activity.
• Complete patient visit log.
• Prepare and submit supply list for billing.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Conditions:

• Position is stressful in terms of meeting deadlines
• It is a primarily a desk job, which essentially involves sitting, standing, stooping, and walking, as well as an inordinate amount of telephone communication

Qualifications:

• Two years of home healthcare and hospice billing experience or basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet regulatory deadlines and deliver effective results
• Excellent computer and phone skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
