Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of health histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging and lab results
• Collaborate with surgeons to design and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance, including preparation of operating rooms, ensuring accurate patient positioning, and efficiently handing off surgical tools during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, with responsibilities such as medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations focused on surgical practices

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications a must
• Possession of state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
