Full Stack Software Engineer

Who we are Our company was founded in 2006 and specializes in technical solutions for bus‑based public transit systems in the US. We design, manufacture, and manage hardware and software products including driver interfaces, dispatch communications, passenger counters, announcers, GPS tracking, and reporting & data analytics. We also build real‑time information systems for riders, including apps and digital signage at bus stops. Our products are integrated with Apple Maps, Google Maps, and the Transit app, reaching millions of riders. Job Overview We are looking for senior back‑end engineers who can write reliable, well‑tested mission‑critical code and work with legacy systems. Candidates should be comfortable debugging complex codebases, designing and implementing incremental improvements, and sharing clear ownership of their work. Requirements 5+ years of professional industry experience with C# and the .NET framework. Experience provisioning new SQL instances and designing database schemas. Experience setting up unit and integration testing frameworks from scratch. Deep understanding of caching strategies and ability to design scalable caching solutions. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering and cross‑functional teams. Strong collaborative mindset, proactive initiative, and ability to lead when needed. Professional front‑end experience with React. Preferred Practice of SOLID principles or familiarity with “Clean Code”. Hands‑on experience with Docker and containerizing .NET applications. Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and end‑to‑end pipeline design. Experience with Redis or other third‑party caching providers. Experience with message queuing such as RabbitMQ or Kafka. Experience with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, or Copilot. Demonstrated ability to work across multiple companies. Side projects related to software or hardware.
