Key Responsibilities of the RN - Endoscopy - Travel

• Coordinate total nursing care for Endoscopy patients.
• Engage in patient and family teaching, addressing pre, intra, and post-procedure needs.
• Administer medications safely, including moderate sedation under physician guidance.
• Assist with minor/local surgical and gastroenterology procedures.
• Assess physical, mental, and psychosocial status of patients continually.
• Address age-specific needs from infants to older adults, including terminal care.

Requirements of the RN - Endoscopy - Travel

• Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 2 to 3 years of recent Endoscopy experience
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Passage of pharmacology exam and Basic Arrhythmia Program or challenge exam
• Moderate Sedation certification
