- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on rental equipment
- Inspect equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and operational readiness before rental deployment
- Identify wear, damage, and potential failures to prevent breakdowns
- Work on a wide variety of equipment including boom lifts, skid loaders, excavators, forklifts, tractors, telehandlers, cranes, loaders, dozers, scissor lifts, and generators
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate equipment status as needed
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and aligned with safety standards
- Participate in hands-on training across multiple equipment brands (JLG, John Deere, Kubota, etc.)
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service
- Support shop operations and additional service needs as assigned

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of equipment repair experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude will be considered)
- Experience with diesel engines, heavy equipment, farm equipment, or similar machinery preferred
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, squatting, etc.)
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn through hands-on training
Work Environment: This position operates primarily in a shop environment with occasional outdoor work. The role requires physical activity including standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, kneeling, and working around heavy equipment. Exposure to noise, machinery, and varying weather conditions may occur. A strong focus on safety, awareness, and teamwork is required.
