About Alternative Auto Care

Alternative Auto Care is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician in Thornton, CO, offering $90,000–$150,000+ earning potential through a flat-rate plus production bonus pay structure. This Monday–Friday position includes a 40-hour weekly guarantee, no weekends, and a climate-controlled shop environment with consistent workflow and modern diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex electrical and drivability concerns
• Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Complete A/C diagnostics and repairs
• Perform engine, timing belt, water pump, and transmission-related repairs
• Complete general automotive repair and maintenance
• Perform accurate Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience required
• A-Level diagnostic and repair skills
• Strong electrical and drivability troubleshooting ability
• Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) experience
• Ability to diagnose and repair multiple makes and models independently
• Own professional automotive tools
• ASE Certifications preferred
• Independent repair shop experience preferred
• Japanese import experience is a plus
