As a Security Officer Part Time Lobby Driver in HICKORY NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Greet visitors verify identification and authorization issue visitor credentials maintain accurate visitor logs and direct guests according to established site procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility through the front desk assist with badge and credential inquiries and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner following emergency response procedures and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with employees and visitors answer incoming calls receive deliveries and complete required activity reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
