Driver

Job Title The Driver transports materials and equipment to and from jobsites for the assigned division/area. The Driver assists the warehouse with inventory recordkeeping and general clean up as needed. Essential Functions 1. Transports materials, tools, supplies, and heavy equipment to job sites in the assigned area. 2. Loads and unloads trucks and secures materials and tools for transport. 3. Supports and assists in job clean-offs and organizing and storing excess inventory. 4. Assists in warehouse and storage areas clean-up and maintenance. 5. Maintains tool inventory records for the assigned division. 6. Maintains vehicles and ensures that the vehicles are in good working order. 7. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Valid Texas driver's license with an excellent driving record required. 3. Current forklift certification required. 4. Prior experience in the construction industry preferred. 5. Must be 21 years or older. Skills/Abilities 1. Basic computer skills. 2. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. 3. Able to abide by all company safety regulations and rules of conduct. 4. Able to demonstrate knowledge of warehouse equipment. Work Environment 1. Extended periods of driving. 2. Outdoor environment with potential exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces. Physical Demands 1. Must be able to lift and handle tools, material, and equipment up to 50lbs. 2. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation. 3. Must be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without reasonable accommodation. 4. Must be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
