Architectural Drafter - Part-Time

If you know Revit and AutoCAD inside and out and understand what it takes to produce accurate drawings for active healthcare environments, this part-time role puts that experience to work on real hospital and medical construction projects.

Your New Role

• Work as a part-time Architectural Drafter supporting E Tabb Design Construction & Development in Louisville, KY

• Produce, update, and coordinate construction drawing sets using Revit and AutoCAD

• Develop site logistics plans, phasing plans, and temporary construction layouts

• Create detailed casework drawings and interior and exterior elevations

• Support hospital, ambulatory, medical office, and other healthcare construction projects

• Participate in MEP clash detection and BIM coordination using Navisworks, Revizto, or similar coordination software

• Apply your understanding of healthcare construction requirements, including ICRA, ILSM, and life safety considerations

• Coordinate drawings around the realities of construction in occupied healthcare facilities

• Work remotely most of the week and report to the Louisville office every Monday

• Make occasional jobsite visits as project needs require

• Maintain a dedicated home workspace with reliable high-speed internet

• 5+ years of drafting experience, including 2+ years on healthcare projects (hospital, ambulatory, medical office).

• Advanced Revit and AutoCAD - verified by work samples, not just a resume line.

  • Resume plus 3-5 drawing samples (redacted as needed) - ideally one healthcare sheet and one coordination model screenshot.

• Has experience with or has participated in MEP clash detection/coordination (Navisworks, Revizto, or similar).

• Understands healthcare construction requirements (ICRA, ILSM, life safety).

• Lives within commuting distance of Louisville and can be in the office every Monday.

• Wants part-time hours (24-30/week) and has successfully worked remotely.

• Nice to have experience at a general contractor or construction manager, not only a design firm.

• Nice to have Bluebeam Revu, Procore, or laser scanning/point cloud workflows.

• Nice to have a degree in architecture, architectural/construction technology, or related field.
