Mammography Technologist PRN

This role involves performing screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams to provide physicians with essential diagnostic data. Under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager, the Mammography Technologist applies principles of ALARA to minimize exposure, evaluates image quality, and ensures proper patient identification. They deliver compassionate patient care, prioritize safety, adhere to aseptic techniques, and assist radiologists with procedures. Key responsibilities include operating radiographic equipment, maintaining quality standards, and responding to emergencies. Qualifications Include Accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT-M mammography and ARRT-R radiography certifications CPR/BLS certification Minimum of 2 years in diagnostic radiography or 1 year in breast imaging (preferred) Skills Required Proficiency in radiographic equipment operation Strong verbal and written communication Excellent patient service skills Knowledge of mammography positioning techniques (preferred) This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on compassionate patient care and professional growth. #J-18808-Ljbffr
