School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant - SLPA

Job Summary Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA), Houston, TX
- Provide speech-language therapy services to children across multiple schools (within a 6-mile radius) in south Houston.
- Implement treatment plans and IEPs developed by supervising SLP.
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings (without clinical interpretation).
- Track and document student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and parents to support student communication goals.
- Prepare therapy materials, maintain clinical records, and assist with equipment management.
- Travel between assigned schools (paid travel time).
- Preference for candidates with school-based and/or special education experience, and knowledge of ARD/IEP processes.
- Must have a Bachelor's in Communication Sciences/Disorders (or related field) and a valid Texas SLPA license.
- Strong communication, organizational, and (preferably) bilingual (English/Spanish) skills required.
