Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with woodworking experience to join our production team. This role involves operating CNC routers and woodworking equipment to manufacture high-quality wood components for commercial and residential applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC routers to cut and shape wood materials
- Load materials, change tooling, and run production jobs
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and CNC programs
- Perform basic program edits and machine adjustments as needed
- Work with hardwoods, softwoods, and composite materials
- Use woodworking tools such as table saws, routers, and sanders
- Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality standards
- Perform sanding, finishing, and prep work as required
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment
- Previous CNC machine operating experience (woodworking preferred)
- Strong understanding of woodworking processes and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Experience with CNC routers and basic G-code knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with CAD/CAM software
- Background in cabinet making, door shops, or millwork
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain CNC machines
