Evaluates, administers, and directs therapeutic procedures to patients recovering from injury, disease, surgery, or other ailments as deemed appropriate for the patient's plan of care. Establishes goals of physical therapy, reassesses patient progress at regular, timely intervals, and supports findings with appropriate documentation. This job classification is required to care for patients of all ages. May direct support staff in assisting with treatment.

Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program, greater than one year experience as a physical therapist, and licensure as a Physical Therapist by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Ability to perform gross motor activities with fingers and hands. Ability to perform firm grasping with fingers and hands.
