Job Description
As a Security Officer Medical Building Part Time Patrol Steward in New York NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents assist staff and visitors and communicate professionally while reporting concerns. Bring a customer-focused mindset teamwork and integrity to a caring reliable and innovative organization. A New York State Security Guard License is required.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures access-control protocols and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notifying appropriate personnel and following established reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings grounds entrances parking areas and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials as directed and assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas of the facility.
- Prepare accurate incident reports daily activity logs and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
