CVICU Registered Nurse

This position involves a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, specifically from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. You will be required to work every other weekend and may float to other comparable units as needed.

We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care. This role includes a focus on cardiac patients and entails potential floating to other like units. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care while adapting to the dynamic needs of the hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to CVICU patients, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, making critical decisions regarding patient treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed, ensuring compliance with nursing protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other like units, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or Compact state.
• Validated BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Relevant experience in CVICU or similar critical care settings is preferred.
• Fingerprint background check is required before starting.
