Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in H arker Heights, TX . This is a 13+ weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Job Details: 
Schedule:  

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
• Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM CST
• Rotating Saturday: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM CST

Location:   Harker Heights, TX 76548
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 13+ weeks
Pay Range: $20-23/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  

Duties: 

• Perform accurate and efficient venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Collect blood specimens from pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients .
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.
• Verify patient demographic information and obtain required signatures.
• Ensure specimens are properly labeled in the patient's presence.
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
• Follow established safety, quality, and infection-control procedures.
• Provide a positive and professional experience for patients and clients.

Requirements: 

• Education:  High School Diploma or GED required.
• Years of experience:  Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Skills/Specialties/Technology:   Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections .
